Your hosts in a 4-star hotel in Tyrol

The hotel is already in its second generation and we, Cordula and Helge, are wholly committed to seeing to our guest's well-being. We work wholly in line with our motto, ‘Arrive as a guest, leave as friend’. That's why it is important to us that we impart a feeling of ‘having arrived’, ensuring our guests feel welcome. We endeavour to provide you with an insight into the beauty and variety available in Tyrol's unique Oberinntal area.

Our son Maximilian is the family's pride and joy. Since Autumn 2023 he has been attending the ‘Höhere Lehranstalt für Tourismusberufe’ (Tourism Management College) and is already hugely committed to the Truyenhof, even chipping in a few ideas for us!

Senior Manageress Mira is always in a cheery mood and can be found throughout the hotel, seeing to our guests’ well-being, providing interesting recommendations about Ried, the Tyrol region and about the many, varied excursion destinations available.

Balu, our four-legged friend, has been part of the family since March 2023. He adores his favourite spot at Reception, especially when children come to see him.

Passion - a family tradition

An overview of our history

Josef ‘Pepi’ Jele was ahead of his time. For that reason, he said goodbye to his pigs in 1972 and built a guesthouse with the legendary ‘Schweindl Bar’ in the basement, creating a symbolical bridge to the Truyenhof’s past. From the outset, Pepi was successful in his role as host and cherished interaction with guests staying in the guesthouse.

With mountain tours, river expeditions, sunset hikes to the Kruppköpfe and Piz Lad, bringing days to a close in Rescher Alm and in the Asterhof, he provided his guests with real experiences that have been remembered well beyond the end of his life, and which gave hospitality a deeper significance.

Always by Pepi’s side: Mira, the good soul of the hotel and tennis ace. She still plays friendly matches with guests today. She also demonstrates a skilful touch when it comes to her lovely decorations and the wonderful summery floral blooms, revealing her affinity with the Truyenhof.

Spurred on by her parent's cordial hospitality, Cordula actively participated in all areas of the Truyenhof from a young age. She is the calming influence in the family and perfectly complements Helge, being an all-rounder, from barkeeper to marketer.

Maximilian is the youngest member of the Truyenhof family. As children’s entertainer, playmate and hiking companion, he always seeks personal contact with guests. Evidence of just how much the hotel sector is in his DNA, and the rosy future that lies ahead for the Truyenhof.

For over 50 years, Mira and Pepi have created space for well-being in the Truyenhof. Cordula and Helge have continued this hospitality now for ten years together with their wonderful team, bringing fresh impulses, ideas and surprises to the hotel.

One thing is crystal clear: In spite of many changes, there is still a great deal of love, passion and family ideals rooted in the Truyenhof. So it is still a really huge joy for us to welcome so many regular guests, and new guests – so many friends – year after year.
