Kaunertal Glacier is 35 km from Ried and provides total snow-assuredness and a dreamily beautiful backdrop right through to early summer. Nestling in a mountain realm with over thirty three-thousand metre mountains, skiing in Kaunertal is a really special experience.

55 very well-tended kilometres of pistes provide skiing & snowboarding fun on natural snow from October to May, for all ability levels - from beginners through to those at an advanced level. Freeriders too are very well catered for on 36 km of routes.

Venet cable car

The Venet ski area is a small, yet perfectly formed ski area and has long been an insider tip for all connoisseurs and those who prefer things to be a little more tranquil.

22 very well-tended kilometres of pistes promise ski fun with the panorama of the Ötztal and Lechtal Alps, as well as views to the Zugspitze. Tourers are very welcome here too.
